Day 165: The Beauty of Nature

Today is Halloween Day but I don't really celebrate it at all. Instead of going trick or treating I am going to help at a fall festival with my church and James is coming as well. If you guys are interested in coming for some fun and a place to get loads of candy and dinner served in the way of hot dogs and popcorn join us at Minneola City Hall the address is: 800 N. Minneola, FL  34715. It is going to be a fun time and there will be lots of games to play and loads of candy to get as well as a puppet show. It is being put on by our Awana group which in case you don't know what that is, it is a place where kids go to learn bible verses, play some games and just have fun. The event is called Safe Night Out so as the name suggests, it is a place to bring your kids where they will be safe and sound and will have loads of fun playing the games, seeing the puppets and getting tons of candy. I have also been studying today and went to lunch with my dad and sister to Santa Fe which is a yummy steak restaurant. It has been a great day and I am looking forward to helping out tonight at the Fall Festival.

Day 164: Great Day hehe :)

Today has been another of those great days. I went to church this morning and taught sunday school and even though we only had 1 kid in there it was cool being able to teach him bible stories. I love teaching those kids. It is my passion and I look forward to doing it for a living eventually after I'm out of school. Then I got to see James today and we sat together in church as usual. It was a fun time hanging out with him yet again. He is also coming to our church's fall festival tomorrow because I have off from school with it being Halloween so we are both going to help at the fall festival. Tonight we are going to hang out for a game night which will also be a bunch of fun. Unfortunatley, James isn't planning on coming but I'll see him tomorrow so it's all good. I have had such a great day and am just in awe by how much God has blessed me with. I also almost forgot to mention I studied today for my math test which I have been studying for for the past week so yeah please be praying I do well and am readily prepared for it. God can do anything and I know He can help me ace this test. My hope, future and everything is in His hands. I just want His name to be glorified in everything I say and do.

Day 163: Work and Some Fun Day

Today has been a fairly productive day. I had a sleepover with my friend Ashley last night and that was a lot of fun we had a little adventure and got to help out a friend which was pretty cool. It really brought all of us closer as friends and helped build even more trust. I also worked today and worked hard, it was really busy in the store today so I was all over the store buzzing through the aisles but that is the way I like it to be because then it gives me something to do and secures my job there as well. I am going to a movie night later on tonight and also talked to James today for a little while after work. He is coming to the movie night as well so I was making sure he knew where it was. It has been a somewhat tiring day but overall I got a lot done and helped out the people closing the store tonight at work which is what I love to do.

Day 162: Rainy Day

Today has been a very rainy day. I had school this morning and it went well and I found out that my next test is going to be open book which is nice. I was going to go see Courageous with Ashley today but neither of us had a car to get there so we decided to just hang out at my house and watch movies or play Just Dance or something. Now I am excited because she is coming over for a sleepover tonight and we are also playing ultimate frisbee tonight which I am very excited about. I also talked to a special guy named James today on the phone which was fun. I enjoy when I get to talk to him.

Day 161: Beautiful Day

This has been a very beautiful day, not too hot and not too cold out, just the right temperature. Also, I worked this morning on truck and got a lot accomplished on it. I woke up a little late because my alarm somehow got shut off so it was one of those get ready in 15 minutes days but it was fine because we weren't there real late so while half the world is just getting into work I was half done with my work which was kind of nice. Also, I got to talk to James who is looking for some job more full time than Kohl's is so I was trying to encourage him to keep at it. Job hunting isn't fun, it took me months to get my first job but eventually you find one. He is experiencing what half the world does each and everyday. Tonight, I have lifegroup which I am very excited about, I love the people there I just have so many friends in my lifegroup and they always make my week so much more special.

Day 160: What's Today Bring?

What does taking a picture of all these books show? Well, other than doing chores and sleeping in, I have studied a good portion of the day. I think my brain is turning into a machine taking in all of this information and working through all of the problems in each subject. The question is, will it stick with me when it is time to retake my math test and take my next science test. I am firmly relying on God to help me through both these classes but am also doing all the possible studying I can before the next tests. Today also consisted of talking to James for a little bit. I know he wanted to hang out today but this study day needed to happen so that is what happened. I am trying to buckle down and get these classes finished so that after this semester I will be done with the community college I am currently attending. It will be so nice to be done with them and enjoy my Christmas break before heading back to school.

Day 159: Shining Light

I have had a fairly relaxing day today just did some studying for math and science, talked to James for awhile and then took a short nap before taking my brother into work. Now I am just chilling at home until work tonight. I am so blessed in life between my great job, family, friends, James, school and so many more I can't even think of right now. God has truly blessed me with all the people in my life and I look forward to gaining them as lifelong friends. I loved how this picture looked like God was peeking out at me rom behind the clouds, not that He needs to hide His beauty because He doesn't, it is in His creation all around us like the clouds in the sky, the sun, the trees, the grass and each and every one of us people in the world.

Day 158: Beggar

This is one little beggar dog. I had just fed her some peanuts which she loves and she was looking for even more. She loves food so much and she just gives the cutest looks when she wants some food. She is such a good dog. Today has been a pretty relaxing day for me. I worked this morning and ever since have just been chilling at home napping mostly. I was tired from the kind of confusing truck we had so laid down for a much needed nap. Tonight I have school then am going to come home and be productive by doing some homework.

Day 157: Yet Another Great Day

Today was an awesome day. I went to church today and worshipped God with my family and James. Then I went to lunch at Flipper's with my family and James. It was a very enjoyable start to my day and now I am just chilling until I work tonight. I usually go to Starbuck's with friends on Sunday nights but I need the hours so I took a shift from a fellow associate at work. It was nice to be able to pick up some much needed hours so it came at a good time. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself today and look forward to many more just like it. It was such a simple day but it was yet so much fun.

Day 156: Work Time

Today was a fairly uneventful day. I hung out with James a little bit today by the lake and we just talked, then I came home, watched some t.v., did some math homework, took a short nap then headed off to work. We had a great closing crew tonight so we got down right at closing time. I enjoyed working with all the people that were there tonight because they are all hard workers and like to get the job done well and efficiently. It is nice to have a team that wants to do that. I thoroughly enjoyed it tonight and I also picked up some hours for tomorrow that I desperately needed so that was nice. I love this poster because it is my favorite band of all time. I have met the guys in the band and they are some of the nicest guys you could ever meet which is good for a band to be.

Day 155: Sunrise is only the beginning

I woke up to this this morning and just thought it looked so beautiful so I had to take a picture of it. Today has been a great day! First, I went to school this morning for my chemistry class and it is awesome because I have started getting to know a couple of my classmates that I have done group projects with and it has been cool getting to know them a little bit. I always love meeting new people. I also went on my first date with James and it was a lot of fun. We went to lunch at Chipotle and then went to a nearby lake and just sat and talked a little bit. It was so simple but at the same time it was a really good time. Now I am just chilling at home until tonight when my friends and I go play some frisbee again. I have had and will have such a great day. This has been a very memorable day and I hope to have many more ahead.

Day 154: Beautiful Fall Day

I made this random painting to welcome in this beautiful weather we have had the last couple of days. Yesterday, after it rained the cool weather came in and it has been beautiful ever since. I love the cooler weather. Today has been a pretty relaxing day and a day off work for me as well. Tonight, I am going to this thing called Thirdsday meaning Third Thursday for my lifegroup where all the lifegroups are getting together, worshipping together and hearing a message, it should be pretty epic. I am excited about it and seeing all my awesome friends there as well. I hung out with some of my friends from the bible study I have been going to on Tuesday nights because James invited me to it and I had a lot of fun with all those amazing people. It is nice to have so many amazing Christian friends who share my passion for God. I am looking forward to tomorrow because James and I are going on our first official date so it should be pretty exciting.

Day 153: Work Day

Today I mostly worked a good portion of it. I then came home and took a much needed nap to try and help get rid of this cold that has come upon me. I feel much better after my nap and am ready for school tonight. I have math class tonight and am handing in my take home test that the teacher handed out last class in place of a test in the classroom. She let us do a take home test because it would have run over class time. I didn't mind it being a take home test even though she required us to show all of our work on each problem. It has been a very relaxing, rainy, overcast kind of day which is the best kind for napping.

Day 152: Bleh

What did today consist of? Oh yeah, more schoolwork lol. I was doing my take home test that my teacher gave to me last night this afternoon and so I was in a big study session this afternoon finishing up the test for tomorrow. Also, I worked this morning and got a bunch of stuff done. The whole truck was unloaded in an hour which is the fastest it has been done in awhile because it was a smaller truck which was nice. I was going to go to a bible study tonight but I caught James' cold when I hung out with him yesterday so I have a sore throat and don't want to get anybody else sick so I'm staying home because of that and so I can get some good sleep tonight to help fight the cold. Overall, it has been a day full of work, schoolwork and resting up from the cold I caught.

Day 151: STUDYYYY

These clouds look threatening don't they? Well, it was supposed to rain and all that happened was a few sprinkles came. It was a nice night to play some frisbee with friends again although I was still feeling the effects of playing on Saturday night so I only played 1 game and a short final game. Today was full of studying for my math test tonight that turned out being a take home test which was nice. I had a great day studying at the library with James even though he is sick, poor guy. I was very amazed he even wanted to do anything today with not feeling good. It was a fun time though and made studying for math more exciting. I also got a lot of studying done and felt prepared for the test. That was basically my day in a nutshell, sleep, get ready, go to the library and study with James, go home and study for a bit, eat dinner then go to school then directly afterwards some frisbee with friends. Now I am off to sleep since I am working early in the morning.

Day 150: Another Great Day

I had yet another great day. I had church and sunday school this morning then a luncheon after the service. James came to my church today and joined my family and I in worshipping God and hearing from God's Word through my dad. It was a lot of fun hanging with James at my church and also it was fun working with the kids in sunday school. The service was really nice, the music was so worshipful and my dad's message was really well done. I love my dad's preaching, he's an awesome pastor. I also found this picture cool because it is a tree that actually looks like fall is in the air with the tree changing colors. I love fall and winter time so that was a good sight for me. Once again, it was a great day spent with my family and James as well. Now I have the evening service tonight then spending time hanging out with friends at Starbuck's.

Day 149: Great Day

I had a pretty relaxing day again today. I worked last night on register and got 3 people to open Kohl's charges so that was pretty cool plus I got a lot of the areas around the register done faster because I helped clean up their areas some. Today, I was able to sleep in, then I did some of my household chores and cleaned up a little. Then I hung out at my house with my family and James. We just chilled, watched a movie and played some video games such as Mariokart which I totally beat him in hehe. It was a bunch of fun. Now tonight, I am going to play frisbee again with all of my wonderful friends as well as some new people. I so can't wait until frisbee tonight. My day has been so great and I once again hope I have many more like it in the future. Even the simple hang out days just relaxing are memorable for me. Good times all around and look forward to another occurence like today. It has looked like it is going to rain all day but hasn't which is good for our frisbee game but it feels really nice outside.

Day 148: Yuckyyyy

I was walking into the garage after I got home from school and this little bug was just crawling along there. I have to say Florida has some pretty weird looking bugs. I thought it looked cool though so I took a picture. Personally, I think bugs like this one are gross but I was simply using it for my blog post. The day today has been pretty relaxing. I just went to school this morning, then hung out with James a little at school, he was job hunting which is loads of fun NOT! Lol.. then I came home and am just relaxing. I am working tonight but for right now I am just relaxing at home for awhile which is nice.

Day 147: Work, Work, Work

I was met with this sight after work this morning and it just looked so cool. I thank God each and every day for His amazing, beautiful creation. God has truly made a beautiful world. My day has been pretty chill. I just worked this morning, talked to James for awhile, did some homework, took a nap and am going mini golfing with some of the most amazing friends ever tonight. I love every minute I spend with them, they all make me laugh so hard and are truly an inspiration to me. I thank God every day for them also, what would I be without my friends and family that care and love me so much. It is so cool to see such an amazing group of people grow into lifelong friends of mine. Also, I got my retake math test back yesterday and got a 93 on it which I was pretty excited about because it boosted my score like crazy. I like that my teacher allows us to retake the tests if we don't do so good on them, it is really nice and relieves some of the stress that taking tests creates. I am truly blessed with the people and teachers I have had and still have.

Day 146: Fun Dayyyy :)

As I was taking a walk with James today, I spotted this turtle along the way. It is a snapping turtle which neither of us knew at the time until a lady came by on a bike and told us that that is what kind of turtle it is. James tried to pick it up and thankfully dropped it before it bit him. When he picked it up, we didn't know until later that it is a snapping turtle so God was protecting James from a vicious turtle bite. It was a cool sight to see along our walk though. We were taking a walk next to the lake today and this little guy was just so cool to see just sitting there chilling. It was going for a little walk of its own. It has been such a fun day, a nice walk in the nice cool fall air, lunch at Taco Bell and tonight I am off to math class. It has been a great day full of adventures such as this turtle provided and fun times with James.

Day 145: The Flower Symbol

I took this picture right in my backyard and this just struck me as such a pretty flower. The cool thing I thought of when I was looking at the picture is how there is 2 flowers around that big flower which is awesome because it is like the Trinity God (the big flower), Jesus and the Holy Spirit surrounding the big flower because the way they surround God, they also are God which is awesome. I just thought it was a cool thought and was such a huge symbol to me. God is such a big part of my life, in fact He is the reason I am alive and breathing today and as such I am so constantly reminded He is alive in my life that even this small symbol meant so much to me. I hope this inspires all you readers out there not only to seek God with all you hearts, souls and minds but also to live your life all out for Him because that is the best life of all.

Day 144: Beauty Surrounds Us

One of the many beautiful sights of Florida greeted me today. I was driving home from dropping my brother off at work and just had to stop and take a picture of the beautiful lake. God has truly shown me the beauty of his nature and world through this blog idea. I love how the lake looks when the day is overcast. It looks like rain at this point of time but as of yet hasn't rained yet today. It isn't supposed to rain today but we'll see how that goes, Florida weather is very unpredictable so it could always rain. I am excited because first of all I am going to school tonight, then I am going to play some frisbee tonight with my friends. I am very excited, I love playing frisbee so much and playing it with my friend makes it even better.

Day 143: Yet Another Rainy Day

I was met with this sight today when I got home from church. It was a nice day to be at church, the weather made me a bit tired but I'll live being tired. I had a good time at church today. My dad did a great job on his sermon and the kids I have in sunday school ended up not being there because of sickness so it was a pretty chill day. I also went out to lunch with my sister at a chinese restaurant and it was so yummy. Tonight I am hanging with my friends again at Starbuck's and going to evening service. I am looking forward to that and seeing my awesome friends as well. I enjoy every time I get to see them. My friends are some of my favorite people along with my family of course.

Day 142: Rainy Day

This is a cool tree that is right across from my house. It is such a pretty sight. The day has been overcast and rainy all day but with all that comes the cooler weather so I'm all for it. I love the cooler weather because it gives me a reason to wear all the comfy fall clothes in my closet. God has given us some beautiful, cool weather today. All that has been up with me today is sleeping in, relaxation time then tonight I am working. I don't mind working tonight though because I need the hours. The only bad thing about the weather is that it makes me very sleepy even though I'm not tired. Rain and overcast weather does that to you for some reason but I don't mind it all that much.

Day 141: Looks like Rain

I went to school today and actually had a full class. I had my first lab and it was actually a pretty painless experience. I kind of enjoyed it actually and I usually enjoy learning new stuff so that was a new experience. The scenery in this picture greeted me outside my house before I left for school and it just looked so pretty I had to take a picture. It looked like rain and of course it did end up raining after all later in the day. It made for a nice nap though because I was able to sleep through the rain.

Day 140: Fun Stuff

I was on the way to school today to retake my math test and got this beautiful scenery that greeted me on the way. The sun is absolutely beautiful when you're not blinded by it. I can just imagine how much more blinding God's light would be. It would be like 1,000,000,000,000,000 plus even more suns. That is so cool to think that my God is so powerful and mighty that His glory shines so much more even than the sun. God's hand was definitely with me at school as I was taking my test. I could feel His presence and pray that that will mean I got a better grade this time. It is nice that my teacher let me retake it so I can get my grade up a little. I have had a very relaxing day and tonight I am off to see all my awesome friends at lifegroup, can't imagine a better ending to my night.

Day 139: Beauty in God's Eyes

Wow I was blessed with this sight on the way to school today. I was in the parking lot when I took it and it was absolutely beautiful. I was also able to see three of my friends after school as well because I got out early. It was nice to see them. I love when that happens. This just looked so cool, it almost looked like God was peeking at me behind the clouds which was awesome to think about. God is and always be with me and be my biggest influence in life which is how it should be. It was such a great day off between the beautiful weather and seeing my friends at school, my day ended really well. I got a lot of studying done today to retake my math test so I will be taking it again tomorrow.

Day 138: Relaxation is Amazing

It has been a very relaxing day on my end. I had a great time playing ultimate frisbee and eating at Steak and Shake last night with some friends. It was a bunch of fun. I am pretty sore today but I'll live. The annoying thing is that a stupid mosquito bit me right under the eye so now my eye looks kind of puffy but that'll go away eventually thankfully. This is another book I have been trying to finish. I haven't had much time lately to read but when I do I enjoy this book. It has a lot of good information about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am going to a bible study tonight with a friend so it'll be another good night out. I love hanging out with my friends, without my friends and family that God blessed me with I'm not sure what I'd be but my friends make me so happy so it is a good thing. It has been a nice day out as well so with the windows down the house feels nice.

Day 137: Fall is Here

This is a great representation of the season changing. Just like this tree changing colors, we have now entered the fall season and have done away with the summer season this year. It is so beautiful outside today, both the temperature and the scenery around town today. I love how this tree is turning yellow, it is pretty awesome. Everything is constantly changing, the one thing that never changes is God's love for us. Now isn't that awesome? I just love that reminder that no matter what may change in life, God's love is constant for everybody. I have had a nice fall today so far. I slept in because I had the day off. Tonight, I have school then we are going to play some ultimate frisbee again. It is always so much fun to spend time with my amazing group of friends. They make the day even brighter and make my life so much more interesting in a good way. What would I do without my friends? I'd be unhappy that's what I'd be. Thanks all my awesome friends for constantly being there for me.

Day 136: Good Book

I have recently decided to read this book again. I haven't made it too far since I have ben pretty busy between work and school but it is a great book. I have also watched the movie and it is a great movie as well. Reading books is a hobby of mine, I just wish I had more time to do it. It is a really good book series and I would totally recommend it. I had such a great day today. I had church and sunday school this morning then I went to lunch at Crisper's. It was a good start, then I went to evening service and saw a few of my awesome friends. Then I got to see even more of my friends afterwards. We went to Starbuck's and played Catch Phrase. It was kind of cold outside which was a very nice change. I love the cool weather. Overall, a great day it is one of my favorite days.

Day 135: Wonderful 1st of October Day

This was dinner that my sister made for my family. It is a yummy food called goulash. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a good diner to have on the first day this year that actually started to feel like fall was on its way. It was a very beautiful day here. I worked today for 6.5 hours and it was pretty busy but was a good day at work. I gave the person in the Juniors department a good headstart. I have to say the department looked nice when I left. I enjoy to make any area I'm supposed to work in look nice especially for those that have to close the store at night.

Day 134: Beautiful Fall Day

This is actually my blog post for 9/30/2011. I just never got around to making this for yesterday. I enjoyed my Friday. I ended up going to school to take a chemistry test then played some intense games of frisbee too. It was a rather warm day outside. I enjoyed my Friday though thoroughly enjoyable day and night with friends. I got called in to work for a register shift and even talked somebody into opening a charge card.
